5. Use of Adverbs

Many English learners struggle with adverbs. The most common error is confusing adjectives with adverbs, such as saying "He runs quick" instead of "He runs quickly" or "She speaks good" instead of "well." Another frequent mistake is incorrect word order. Never place an adverb between a verb and its direct object; say "I read the book quickly," not "I read quickly the book." Finally, words like fast and hard never take an -ly ending. Avoiding these errors ensures natural speech.
